Moving into new countries | #2030InSight

Following the success of the first year of the Tej Kohli and Ruit Foundation, the plans are underway to begin to move into more countries across Asia and Africa.

Since its genesis in March 2021, the Tej Kohli & Ruit Foundation has cured over 21,000 cases of needless cataract blindness. With a goal of curing 300,000-500,000 people by 2026 - it seems well within reach.

Our work aims to help people in places struck by poverty. Often those living in poverty are without access to medical care and the poor conditions that they live in can add to their deteriorating sight.

By committing to visiting remote districts across countries such as Nepal, Ghana and Bhutan, we have delivered care, advise and surgeries to people that need it most. We have accomplished vast amounts since beginning and we hope to leave a legacy of change in places which will change eye health and poverty for good.
