2 contrarian investment plays

During the lows of 2020 throughout the pandemic, 'Buy the dip" was great advice. Many investors headed in this direction throughout this period and whilst technology stocks continued to grow and boom, many tradtional divident-paying value stocks seemed to drop.

However, even with this, many of those stocks recovered and seem to be reaching their pre-pandemic levels, and investors who brought into their dips have recieved sizable gains.

Investors have seen a return to normality more recently after the dire events of 2020. It can be said that there is nothing worse than an investor not backing a stock that you have a great feeling about, then watching from the sidelines as it soars and grows.
